IMTCA Mountain Trail
Play Day Schooling Challenge

November 3 and 4, 2018

This event is open to all competitive trail enthusiasts, all ages, all breeds, all disciplines, and all skill levels regardless of previous experience with Mountain Trail. This fun event is designed to bring multiple disciplines of the horse community together to generate interest, knowledge and appreciation of Mountain Trail skills that are complementary to all riders/disciplines. This is an International Mountain Trail Challenge Association (IMTCA) sanctioned schooling challenge.

Barbara H. Callihan founded Happy Hoof Beats (HHB) Equestrian Center in 2005. HHB offers consulting, horse training, and personalized individual and group coaching programs that enable riders of all ages and skill level to achieve their goals and enjoy their equestrian journey. Located in Pahrump, an hour west of Las Vegas towards Death Valley National Park, this facility borders Bureau of Land Management land with open riding available all the way to California. The Equestrian Center also features the Southwest’s first state-of-the-art Extreme Mountain Trail Course that gives riders the skills to navigate local trails safely and confidently and participate in the emerging trail discipline. Above all, the Equestrian Center welcomes people from all walks of life to be a part of equestrian fellowship and have the opportunity to develop horsemanship skills that lead to personal transformation.


New Offerings:
Introduction to Mountain Trail Curriculum Formats

 

 

The Introduction Mountain Trail curriculum offered in coaching clincis can now be completed in various formats, including a one-day intensive coaching clinic or semi-private lesson for up to three participants, as well as the original two-day coaching clinic or private clinic for up to six persons.
