HHB is dedicated to safety of each and every horse, including their health. All it takes is for one horse with Coggins (EIA) to put every other horse at risk. See the article below about how one horse potentially exposed 240 other horses to EIA. Coggins is a non-curable disease and results in euthanasia.

HHB Horse Health Requirements

Coggins Test — Your horse must have had a Coggins Test in the past 12 months — A negative Coggins veterinary Report required at check-in

Rhino and Flu Vaccination — Your horse must be up-to-date on all vaccinations including proof of rhino/ flu vaccination within 6 months by Veterinarian or proof of purchase

Upon arrival, all horses MUST BE in good health — no cough, no temperature, no runny noses, no lameness

Horses showing signs of illness will not be able to participate and will be asked to leave hhb property - not to expose other horses

Riders whose horses show signs of illness or lameness will not receive a refund; instead they will receive credit to future HHB events and clinics.
